to Dalston Junction from Hackney Central then get off the bus where the =
big building site where there building the new rail link, it's now the =
first turning on your right. Nearest overground is Dalston Kingsland =
which is very close. Buses include 30 - 38 - 56 - 67 - 76 - 149 - 236 - =

Isn't Dalston in the middle of Nowhere?
Where is somewhere? But no it's not nowhere. Dalston is well served by =
public transport and 7 minutes from Islington and Shoreditch, which are =
both nice areas.
Is Dalston a bit... rough?
No, it's very nice and so far I've never been a victim of crime there.
Who will I know at the opening?
Well, firstly you will know Jasper Joffe, please introduce yourself at =
the opening, he will be very pleased that you have come to his opening. =
Secondly if you're on this mailing list I am sure there will be some =
forgotten acquaintance that will be nice to see, or please feel free to =
bring your own friends and family.
Will I have to go into one of the ugly or beautiful galleries, and won't =
this be embarrassing?

But in truth this experiment will be quite fun, and of course there is a =
large entrance hall with beers and friends for those unaffiliated to any =
sense of their own aesthetic.
What if I don't like Jasper's paintings?
Fortunately there is another show opening in V22's project space =
featuring the talented Yael Schmidt who has done some stunning =
projections. You can also tell Jasper you don't like his paintings on =
the review site www.worldwidereview.com
What will I do afterwards?
There are some really good inexpensive restaurants locally. Such as the =
fine Mangal Ocabasi on Arcola Street, one of London's best grills. =
Gilbert and George are frequently seen wondering down the road on their =
way to eat Turkish Food. There is another opening locally at Five Years =
Gallery http://www.fiveyears.org.uk/ which you could pop into. You could =
go to the excellent Rio Cinema where I think they are showing Lust, =
Caution. You could come to the pub (sorry not sure which) with all the =
people from the opening. Or you could go dancing at a club in =
Shoreditch.=20
